Elanco Micotil Safety Syringe with Tubing is for use in administering Micotil 300 Injectable solution. This syringe and quick connector securely fasten to the protective shroud using the port located on the bottle. Elanco Micotil 300 Injection is packaged in a safety shroud to protect the bottle from accidental breakage and used with the safety syringe with tubing for increased user safety. Micotil Safety Syringe includes three 16 x 1/2-inch needles with Quick Connector adaptor. Sets up to 12-ml dose. Wash syringe and tubing after each use.

• When full, the safety syringe and tubing contain about 72-ml of product.
After the tubing is connected to the shroud and safely in the location where you will be administering the medication, you are now ready to prime the syringe.
Set the syringe to the highest dose possible, pull back on the trigger, push back on the needle covering of the safety syringe. Pointing the syringe up, squeeze the trigger until the barrel of the syringe is full of medication.
Before the needle is fastened, remove the cone on safety syringe by pressing the black tab and pull the cone off. With the needle cap on, attach the needle to the syringe and reattach the cone.
Set the dose for the appropriate size of animal and give the injection subcutaneously.
Handling after administration. Be sure to have the tubing and safety syringe empty before cleaning. With about 5 calves left to process, disconnect the tubing from the Micotil Safety Shroud and set the bottle in a safe place while keeping the end of tube in an upright position. Continue injecting animals until the medication has emptied from the tubing and syringe.
