- Do not use if your pet is taking astemizole, cisapride or triazolam. Drugs other than those listed may also cause interactions.
- Do not use in pregnant or nursing animals.
- Store at room temperature away from heat and moisture.
Use exactly as directed by your veterinarian. The usual dose for dogs and cats is 2.2 to 13 mg per lb of bodyweight orally every 12 to 24 hours depending on the condition being treated. Make sure plenty of drinking water is available for the pet. Do not give within 2 hours of giving an antacid. Give medication with food to reduce upset stomach.
