Oral suspension bactericidal antibiotic for cats. Treats gram-negative and gram-positive anaerobic bacteria. It is commonly used for the treatment of skin infections (abscesses and wounds) caused by susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida, Streptococcus canis, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus felis and Staphylococcus pseudintermedius. Offers convenient, once-a-day dosing.

Shake this product well before use. Determine accurate bodyweight. Dose is 7.5 mg/kg (3.4 mg/lb) bodyweight every 24 hours for 7 consecutive days. Use syringe provided to ensure dosing accuracy to nearest 0.1 ml. Rinse syringe between doses. If acceptable response to treatment is not observed, or if no improvement is seen within 3 to 4 days, re-evaluate diagnosis and consider appropriate alternative therapy.
