SNAP has the largest FDA/AOAC-approved temperature range of any test on the market—45±5 °C.

Allow 10 to 15 minutes for the portable heater to reach operating temperature. Tests must be run at 45±5 °C (104 to 122 °F). The SNAP portable heater blocks have internal thermostats, optimized within the range of 40 to 50 °C. If you do not see any color in the block’s temperature strip, do not attempt to run the test.
