Zoetis Draxxin 25 is a lower concentration of Draxxin injectable solution for easier dosing of small calves and young pigs. Used for the treatment of bovine respiratory (BRD) in suckling, dairy and veal calves. Similar to the current concentration Draxxin, Draxxin 25 offers the same broad-spectrum coverage to treat and control the major causes of BRD caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, and Mycoplasma bovis.

In swine this medication is indicated for the use to treat and control swine respiratory disease (SRD) due to Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Haemophilus parasuis, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.

Labeled for: beef steers, beef heifers, beef calves (2 months of age and older), beef bulls, dairy bulls, and replacement dairy heifers

  • Draxxin is quickly absorbed into tissues and lasts for an extended period in the lungs.
  • Single-dose, full course treatment for BRD or SRD reduces treatment costs, labor and stress on the animals.
  • Ease of dosing in young pigs and calves.
  • Active ingredient: tulathromycin.
  • Cattle slaughter withhold 22 days.
  • Swine slaughter withhold 5 days.
  • Do not use in ruminating cattle.
  • Do not use in animals known to be hypersensitive to the product.
  • Not for use in ruminating cattle.
  • For use in animals only. Not for use in chickens or turkeys.
  • Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children.

Inject subcutaneously as a single dose in the neck at a dosage of 2.5 mg/kg (1 ml/22 lb) bodyweight (BW). Do not inject more than 11.5 ml per injection site.

Swine dosage: Inject intramuscularly as a single dose in the neck at a dosage of 2.5 mg/kg (1 ml/22 lb) Bodyweight (BW). Do not inject more than 4 ml per injection site
