Cystorelin (GnRH) by Boehringer Ingelheim is for treatment of ovarian follicular cysts in dairy cattle. Ovarian cysts are non-ovulated follicles with incomplete luteinization, which can result in nymphomania or irregular estrus. By using Cystorelin the cystic ovaries respond to synthetic gonadotropin by initiating the release of normal physiological levels of endogenous LH to cause ovulation and luteinization. Approved for use in combination with Synchsure to synchronize heat cycles for artificial insemination in lactating dairy cows and beef cows. Contains 50 mcg/per ml gonadorelin diacetate tetrahydrate, 9 mg benzyl alcohol, 7.47 mg sodium chloride and water for injection, USP; pH adjusted with potassium phosphate in each sterile ml.
