Zoetis Valcor Injectable Dewormer for cattle contains two active ingredients, doramectin and levamisole for broad-spectrum control of internal and external parasites. Treats and controls gastrointestinal worms, lungworms, eyeworms, grubs, sucking lice, and mange mites. For use in beef cattle 2-months of age or older and in replacement dairy heifers less than 20-months of age. Not for use in beef bulls intended for breeding over 1-year of age, dairy calves, or veal calves. The first dual-active endectocide(kills both internal and external parasites) for use in the United States.
A single dose of this injectable wormer for cattle controls multiple gastrointestinal roundworms including adult and 4th-stage larvae (Ostertagia ostertagi, including inhibited larvae; O. lyrate, Haemonchus placei; Trichostrongylus axei; T. colubriformis; T. longispicularis, adults only; Cooperia oncophora; C. pectinate, adults only; C. punctata; C. surnabada; Bunostomum phlebotomum, adults only; Strongyloides papillosus, adults only; Oesophagostomum radiatum; Trichuris spp., adults only; Nematodirus helvetianus, adults only), lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus, including adults and fourth-stage larvae), adult eyeworms (Thelazia spp.), parasitic stages of grubs (Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum), sucking lice (Haematopinus eurysternus, Linognathus vituli, and Solenopotes capillatus), and mange mites (Psoroptes bovis and Sarcoptes scabiei).
