TP Purple Super Soft Hoof Block offers an innovative orthopedic insole for cattle. The purple hoof blocks are the softest in the TP rubber cow shoe line up. Constructed of polyurethane—a highly abrasion-resistant material. Its symmetrical design is structured to fit right or left claws. Designed to dramatically aid in the healing and treatment process of lameness from podal disorders. Offers a prompt effect on ambulation, as well as static and dynamic equilibrium for the animal. Made to cover the heel and offer support to the foot while reducing strain on the flexor tendon. Minimizes pain and stress resulting from inflammation (necrosis and other pathological processes) which affect the distal portion of the hooves. Adheres with all bi-component polyurethane adhesives.

Balance the hoof, creating a supportive surface. Roughen the surface of the hoof with the curl of the knife or rasp, creating parallel and crossed cuts. Heat the hoof with heating gun or hair dryer. Apply 2 parallel strips of glue on the TP Block and immediately place on the hoof, aligning the straight side with the inner wall, leaving 0.5 cm protruding besides the heel.

Check for correct positioning. Speed up the glue dry process with a heating gun or hair dryer; then release the cow.

The average time of contact with animal is 3 weeks with a maximum of 2 to 3 months.
