Neo/Poly/Dex (NPD) Ophthalmic Ointment is most generally used in the treatment of severe conjunctivitis, non-ulcerative keratitis and various kinds of dangerous corneal conditions in dogs and cats. Neo/Poly/Dex Ophthalmic is a potent mixture of the antibiotics neomycin and polymyxin B; and the anti-inflammatory steroid dexamethasone in a methylcellulose base.

This drug is primarily used by veterinarians to treat susceptible eye infections including inflammatory conditions of palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea and anterior segment of the globe; chronic anterior uveitis, corneal injury from chemical radiation, ulcers, scratches and allergies.

  • Used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections of the eye. 
  • Heals while reducing the swelling associated with bacterial infections. 
  • Easy to administer.
  • Contains 3.5 mg of neomycin sulfate and 10,000 units of polymyxin B sulfate. 
  • Inform your veterinarian about any eye medication or drops your pet is using. 
  • If your pet has swelling of the face, itching or appears to have difficulty breathing, contact your veterinarian immediately. 
  • Store in a tight, light-resistant container at room temperature. 
  • Keep out of reach of children. 
  • For animal use only.

Use this product as directed by your veterinarian. Wash your hands before and after using this eye ointment. Apply a thin film into the lower eyelid. Wait at least 10 minutes before applying any other eye medication. Do not touch the dropper or tube opening to any surface, including the eyes or hands.
