Merck Safe-Guard Paste 10% for Cattle is an oral dewormer for use in beef and dairy cattle. Safe-Guard paste dewormer contains the active ingredient, fenbendazole and labeled for the removal and control of lungworms, stomach worms (adults and fourth stage larvae), brown stomach worms, intestinal worms (adults and fourth stage larvae), hookworms, thread-necked intestinal worms, small intestinal worms, bankrupt worms, and nodular worms.

Administer orally at a dose rate of 2.3-mg/lb or 11.5-g/500-lb.
The same dosage may be repeated after 4 to 6 weeks if continued exposure to parasites has occurred.
