Panacur Powerpac Horse Dewormer (fenbendazole) paste is an oral horse wormer proven safe and effective for use in multiple ages of horses, including pregnant mares and foals. Offers broad-spectrum control of multiple parasites, along with large and small strongyles (including migrating larvae), pinworms, and ascarids (roundworms). FDA-approved larvicidal dose to treat all stages of encysted small strongyles. Developed with a unique mode of action which disrupts the energy metabolism in the parasite. Use for all newly arrived horses and then once or twice per year. Each Powerpac horse dewormer treatment contains five 57-gram syringes.
Panacur Paste 10% is indicated for the control of the following internal parasites: large strongyles (Strongylus edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris), encysted early third stage (hypobiotic), late third stage and fourth stage cyathostome larvae, small strongyles, pinworms (Oxyuris equi), ascarids (Parascaris equorum), and arteritis caused by hypobiotic larvae of Strongylus vulgaris in horses.
