Merck Panacur Suspension 10% is an oral dewormer for use in beef and dairy cattle and horses. Panacur Suspension drench dewormer contains the active ingredient fenbendazole at a concentration of 100-mg/ml. In beef and dairy cattle, use to treat and control lungworms, stomach worms (adults and fourth stage larvae), barberpole worms, brown stomach worms, intestinal worms (adults and fourth stage larvae), hookworms, thread-necked intestinal worms, small intestinal worms, bankrupt worms, and nodular worms. For beef cattle, use a higher dose rate to treat and control stomach worms (4th stage inhibited larvae of Ostertagia ostertagi) and tapeworms. Panacur Suspension for horses treats and controls large strongyles, small strongyles, and pinworms. Use a higher dose rate to treat and control ascarids.

Shake product well before use. Do not use in dairy cattle at a dose rate of 10-mg/kg. Administer orally by suitable dosing syringe. Insert nozzle of syringe through the interdental space and deposit the drug on the back of the tongue by depressing the plunger. The drug may also be administered by stomach tube.
For beef and dairy cattle: dose rate of 2.3 mg/lb.
Beef only: 4.6-mg/lb to stomach worms (4th stage inhibited larvae of Ostertagia ostertagi) and tapeworms.
Horses: 2.3-mg/lb or 4.6-mg/ml to target ascarids (Parascaris equorum).

Do not underdose. Ensure each animal receives a complete dose based on current bodyweight. Underdosing may result in ineffective treatment and encourage the development of parasite resistance.
