Oxytetracycline Injectable Solution for cattle is a broad-spectrum, ready-to-use antibiotic providing rapid and high antibiotic levels for control and treatment of multiple diseases. Each ml contains 100-mg of the antibiotic oxytetracycline. It is effective against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive organisms. Labeled for the treatment of Wooden Tongue; bacterial soft tissue infection; bovine respiratory disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni; calf diphtheria caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum; calf scours caused by E. coli; footrot; metritis; and can be used as a system treatment for wound infections.

Administer at a rate of 3 to 5-mg/lb (3 to 5-ml/100 lb) of bodyweight once a day for a maximum of 4 consecutive days. Give slowly intravenously over a 5-minute period. For severe footrot or other severe cases of indicated diseases use 5-mg/lb.
If there is no improvement in 24 to 48 hours, consult your veterinarian.
