Indicated for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni (formerly Haemophilus somnus) and Mycoplasma bovis in beef and non-lactating dairy cattle. It is also indicated for the control of respiratory disease in beef and non-lactating dairy cattle at high risk of developing BRD associated with Mannheimia Haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida. A rapid-response antibiotic, Zactran lasts up to 10 days on a single injection.

Labeled for: beef cattle and dairy cattle under 20 months of age

  • Rapid response injection, so it begins working in the lungs in 30 minutes with full response in 24 hours. 
  • Therapeutic levels last in the tissues and lungs for 10 days requiring less stress and injections for the animals and less labor for the administrators.

Do not use within 35 days before slaughter.

Administer 2 ml per 110 lbs bodyweight subcutaneously in the neck. Do not administer more than 10 ml per injection site.
