Udder Singe units are designed for low-heat, fast hair removal of the udder using liquid propane (LP gas). Keep udder hair short all year round to produce quality milk and help control udder disease. Unit makes no noise to avoid startling the cow. The smallest, most portable unit uses a one-pound LP gas bottle. It includes a regulator, 4-foot neoprene hose and 28-inch steel wand.

Comes with a mesh carrying bag and long strap for LP bottle carrying. Striker lighter; 13-foot, flame-proof mitt and instructions also included. The Udder Singe 15-foot hose uses a 20-pound gas bottle. This unit comes with a caddie to hold wand while not in use. An Udder Singe 15-foot is also available with a cart that can be rolled.

  • The wand is made to create a long, low-temperatured flame to quickly and painlessly singe udder hair. 
  • When done properly, the hair can be burned off without pain or stress to the cow. 
  • This product has an open flame. Use caution when using. 
  • Use included glove to smother any flames on the udder.

Make sure udder is dry and free of debris before starting. Quickly pass the flame over the area to be singed. Keep the wand moving to prevent burning the skin.

Remove flame and pat the udder with your gloved hand to smother any flames and remove singed hair. Flame the whole udder including the back and between the quarters. Keep hair short all year round to maintain clean udders.
