Terramycin Scour Tablets for Calves is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat calf scours caused by Salmonella typhimurium and Escherichia coli (colibacillosis) and bacterial pneumonia (shipping fever complex, pasteurellosis) caused by Pasteurella multocida. Contains the antibiotic oxytetracycline HCl in an easy-to-administer pill for calves. Terramycin tablets for calves offer effective treatment based on accurate disease diagnosis. Once treatment begins, a noticeable improvement should be noted in 24 to 48 hours. Each tablet contains 250-mg of oxytetracycline HCl.
Labeled for: beef and dairy calves
Species: cattle, calf
For control of bacterial enteritis and pneumonia: Administer 1 tablet per 100 pounds of bodyweight every 12 hours (5-mg/lb of bodyweight daily in divided doses) for up to 4 consecutive days.
For treatment of bacterial enteritis and pneumonia: Administer 2 tablets per 100 pounds of bodyweight every 12 hours (10-mg/lb of bodyweight daily in divided doses) for up to 4 consecutive days.
Dosage should continue until the animal returns to normal and for 24 to 48 hours after symptoms have subsided. Do not exceed 4 consecutive days or the dosage level of 10-mg/lb of bodyweight, as it may result in antibiotic residues beyond the withdrawal time.

Since using this product we have lost only one calf to scours. It is by far the best medication we have used in 40+ years of farming.
