Rinse out an empty 1-gallon milk or water jug. Use only transparent type jugs, not opaque or colored, to help you see contents.
Next, carefully twist off tip of attractant tube; do not squeeze the bottle while doing so. Squirt one tube of attractant into jug. Fill the jug half full with clean water, and swirl jug lightly to disperse attractant. Place cylinder part of trap heads into mouth jug. Put outside where flies are a problem (within 4 feet of the ground is best).
Trap works best in sunny locations. Remove trap when it is 1/3 or more full of flies. Dispose of jug by throwing it away, bury trap contents at least 6 inches deep. The trap head may be reused.
