Med-Vet Pharmaceuticals Sand Free Pellets for horses is an all-natural pellet to help prevent sand colic. Contains 99% psyllium seed/husks and direct-fed microbials as the active ingredients. These ingredients absorb water in the intestines, forming a gel-like substance to help eliminate sand through the digestive tract. The combination of psyllium, a high-fiber dietary additive and probiotics (live microorganisms) work together to support overall digestive tract health.

  • Psyllium helps expel sand from the digestive system, aiding in prevention of colic, impaction, diarrhea and other issues associated with a build-up of sand in the colon.
  • Psyllium also, acts as a prebiotic (a source of food for ‘good’ bacteria in the colon.
  • Probiotics help repopulate good bacteria in the intestines.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Ingredients: psyllium seed husks, bacillus subtilis, bacillus licheniformis, natural and artificial flavors.

    • Crude fat, min 567 mg.

Adult horses (900 to 1,100 lbs): Provide 4 to 8 oz daily for 7 days. Discontinue and repeat every 3 weeks and/or once monthly on a continuous basis.
