I was asked by my feed store to test this product. With two older horses – 17 yr QH and ~ 19 yr Percheron – keeping weight on them after the grass goes is a true challenge. Unable to get the product I used successfully up North, I agreed. This worked like magic. I did increase the initial rations for the experiment and the Percheron is 2000# so he got double what the QH got. I saw improvements in the first week and they both looked great after two weeks. I was very skeptical at first but happy I was asked to give it a try. The feed store was unable to generate enough interests from other clients, therefore couldn’t meet the minimum order. I found it at Leedstone and even with the shipping fees of $30+ I decided to purchase. Definitely recommend for anyone with a horse that drops weight through the cold weather or for other reasons.
