Neogen Prozap Vapona 400E Pesticide is a concentrated solution which is diluted and used as a topical application or premise spray. For use on beef and dairy cattle and their premise. Controls nuisance flies, gnats and mosquitoes. Approved for use as a fog and mist in outdoor applications and in non-food warehouses. Contains 44.5% DDVP (Vapona). Dilute to a 1% solution with water and apply topically to beef and dairy cattle by lightly wetting the hair, but not the skin or hide. Controls horn, house, stable and face flies. Use as a premise fogger to prevent and control fleas, flies and mosquitoes around cattle, horse and swine housing.

  • Reduces bothersome flies, increasing cattle comfort and minimize production losses.
  • Use a premise spray to control flies, gnats, mosquitoes, fleas, and brown dog ticks.
  • Wear personal protective equipment such as protective eyewear, coveralls worn over long-sleeved shirt and long pants, chemical resistant footwear, socks and gloves, chemical resistant apron when mixing, loading or cleaning equipment. Wear chemical resistant headgear for overhead exposure.
  • Poison; Keep out of reach of children and domestic animals.
  • Causes irreversible eye damage. Causes skin burns.
  • Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing.
  • May be fatal if swallowed. Harmful if absorbed through skin.
  • Harmful if inhaled. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist.
  • Use is prohibited in food/feed manufacturing establishments such as manufacturing, meat, poultry and seafood slaughtering and/or packing plants; excluding non-feed processing areas.
  • Not for use around residential sites.
  • Do not apply to young calves under 6 months old.
  • After treating dairy cattle, wash the teats with an approved cleaning solution and then dry them prior to milking.
  • Do not treat sick or convalescing animals. Do not treat Brahman-cross cattle, as they may show hypersensitivity to organophosphate insecticides.
  • Do not apply dermally in conjunction with Trichlorfon. Do not use on animals simultaneously or within a few days before or after treatment with, or exposure to, cholinesterase inhibiting drugs, pesticides or chemicals.

Topical application for beef and dairy cattle: To control external parasites such as horn, house, stable, and face flies: Make a 1% solution by mixing 1-qt into 12-gallons of water.

Apply 2 fl oz of mix per animal daily as a mist with an automatic sprayer. Spray to cover all parts of the animal including the legs, but do not wet the skin. Do not apply in excess of 2 fluid ounces per animal per day. Do not make direct applications to livestock more frequently than once per day. Do not apply within 1 day of slaughter. For horn flies, direct the spray to the backline, withers and belly. For face flies, spray the forehead, taking care to avoid getting spray in eyes.
