Prozap Protectus Pour On Insecticide IGR features a triple-action formula for use on beef cattle and calves. Provides livestock relief from multiple external parasites. Kills chewing and sucking lice, horn flies, stable flies, horse flies, and deer flies. Kills louse eggs before they hatch. This unique triple threat of ingredients include an IGR (insect growth regulator), adulticide, and a synergist to give cattle relief from infestations and provide producers a reliable solution to help minimize handling, time, and labor costs. Offers season long control of lice. Ready-to-use pour-on—no dilution required.

Nuisance flies—particularly horn flies—cause irritation, blood loss, decreased grazing, lower weight gains, reduced milk production in cows and lower weaning weights in calves. Having an effective fly control protocol can help minimize losses caused by external parasites.

  • Kills louse eggs before they hatch, providing season long control of lice in one application.
  • Ready-to-use pour-on for beef cattle and calves.
  • Contains 3-ingredients to kill nuisance flies and fleas.
  • Active ingredients: 3% diflubenzuron, 2.5% piperonyl butoxide, and 0.5% lambda-cyhalothrin.
  • 5-gallon will treat 320 cattle at 1,000-lbs per animal.
  • IGR is not recommended for use on veal calves.
  • Do not make applications during rain. Avoid making applications when rainfall is expected before the product has sufficient time to dry (minimum 4 hours). Rainfall within 24 hours after application may cause unintended runoff of pesticide application.

Shake this product well before use. Apply 0.1-fl oz (3-ml) per 100-lb of bodyweight. This is equivalent to 1-fl oz (30-ml) per 1,000-lb animal. Pour correct dose along back directly from tip and measure container, graduated applicator gun or ladle/dipper. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes of the animal being treated.

Do not apply more than once every 2 weeks.
