Phenylbutazone injectable 20% for horses is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) to aid in the treatment of fever, pain and inflammation of the body. Provides relief of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation; such as arthritis and injuries to limbs and joints, muscle rupture or sprains in horses. Injectable form is given intravenously to provide rapid pain relief.

For intravenous use, inject a dose at a slow rate of 5 to 10 ml per 1,000 lbs of bodyweight. The higher dose should be given for the first 48 hours. Decrease to a lower dose to still gives proper effect. Give for a maximum of 5 days.
