Phenylbutazone tablet for horses is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) to aid in the treatment of fever, pain and inflammation of the body. Provides relief of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation; such as arthritis and injuries to limbs and joints, muscle rupture or sprains in horses. Easy-to-dose tablets can be crushed and mixed with a small amount of molasses to increase palatability.

Give orally 1 to 2 g per 500 lb bodyweight, do not exceed 4 g daily. Use a relatively high dose for the first 48 hours; then, reduce gradually to a maintenance dose.
Tablets may be crushed and given with feed.
