Remove needle from packaging and insert into needle holder. Insert into blood vessel to collect blood. Insert sample tube into needle holder and puncture the rubber of the tube.
Draw the desired amount of blood and remove from needle holder, leaving needle/needle holder if desiring to collect more blood using a different blood tube. Dispose of needle in the appropriate container. Use a new needle between animals.
