Use exactly as directed by your veterinarian. Shake well before use.
For dogs under 10 lbs: Metacam should be administered on food and not directly into mouth to prevent accidental overdose.
For dogs under 5 lbs: Use the dropper bottle and administer 2 drops per lb of bodyweight onto food.
For dogs 5 to 10 lbs: The dropper bottle or the dosing syringe may be used. Fit dosing syringe onto bottle and carefully draw proper amount into syringe, which is marked in 1 lb increments. Place correct dose onto food to administer.
For dogs over 10 lbs you may mix with food or place directly into mouth. Fit dosing syringe onto bottle and measure to correct weight.
Dog’s weight should be rounded down to the nearest 5 lb increment for accurate dosing and prevention of overdose.
