Bimeda Macrosyn (tulathromycin) injectable solution for cattle and pigs is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is rapidly absorbed and distributed into body tissues post-administration. Use in cattle to treat and control bovine respiratory disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, and Mycoplasma bovis. Treats foot rot caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum and Porphyromonas levii pathogens; and pinkeye caused by Moraxella bovis.
In swine, this medication is indicated for the use of treating and controlling swine respiratory disease (SRD) due to Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. Treats SRD caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica and Haemophilus parasuis pathogens.
Macrosyn is a single, low-volume dose, broad-spectrum antibiotic to treat/control the major causes of BRD in cattle and SRD in swine. Highly syringeable—easy to draw-up and administer in any weather.
