Land O Lakes Lamb and Kid Milk Replacer is a medicated formula to help prevent coccidiosis in lambs and goat kids. Formulated with the active ingredient decoquinate to prevent coccidia caused by E crandallis, E bakuensis, E ovina, and E parva. Contains ideal fat, protein, vitamins and minerals to support the health and growth of young goat kids and lambs. Designed to be fed at least 28 days during periods of exposure to coccidiosis or predicted exposure. Coccidiosis can cause significant disease challenges and economic loss. In lambs, most clinical cases occur between 1 and 6 months of age, with the majority occurring between 1 and 2 months of age in lambs born indoors. In goat kids, clinical signs occur in 1 to 2 months of age with the majority occurring between 5 and 8 weeks of age. More common in goat kids born indoors, in uncleanly pens, or overcrowded housing.
