Clear polyvinyl flexible stomach tube that allows you to see the fluids being administered. Heavy walls prevent kinking or blocking even when bent at an angle. Smooth exterior; smoothed rounded end with two holes, so it won’t cause injury to the animal. 10 feet long with 5/8-inch outside diameter and a 3/8-inch inside diameter.
Labeled for: beef and dairy cattle, calves and horses
Species: cattle, calf, horse
One end of this tubing is rounded for easy insertion while the other end is flared to connect to a pump.
Never administer liquids too quickly.
With the animal restrained, use the non-dominant hand to open the mouth while the dominant hand slowly feeds the tube over the tongue. Allow the animal to swallow the tube to ensure the tube enters the esophagus. Attach the other end to a pump to administer liquids. Slowly give the liquids. After using, sanitize the tube. Keep the tube hung up to allow proper draining.
