Remove from packaging; insert the larger end into the IV bag. On the smaller end, attach a needle of the appropriate size and length. Use the roller clamp to stop and start the flow of fluid. Make sure to remove the air from the tube before administering the fluid. Additional drugs can be administered via the Y-injection site. Stop fluid flow before removing needle from animal. Dispose of needle in the appropriate container.
