Treat the injured claw. Then trim the sound claw as flat, clean and dry as possible. Place the Hoof Tite cartridge into the applicator gun. Squeeze tabs on the green plug and pull to remove. Place mixer tip into place. Slide cap onto mixer tip and twist cap to secure. Dispense through gun.
Apply adhesive to wood, plastic or boot blocks. Apply block immediately to prepared sound claw. Hold firmly for 30 seconds. Avoid pressing glue between hoof and block, because the layer of glue may become too thin. After setting, let the cow stand on the block for 2 to 3 minutes before releasing.
