Denkavit Denkamilk Exceed Lamb Milk Replacer is a medicated formula to aid in control of coccidiosis in lambs. Formulated with the active ingredient decoquinate to prevent coccidia caused by E. crandallis, E. bakuensis, E. ovinaidalis, and E. parva. Designed to be fed on the second day of life, this superior formula is produced with high-quality dairy proteins and advantageous levels of coconut oil. Coconut oil is a medium-chain fatty acid, which is easily digested and enhances enzyme production, and has a lower melting point, increasing mixability and stability of milk replacer. Coccidiosis can cause significant disease challenges and economic loss. In lambs, most clinical cases occur between 1 and 6 months of age, with the majority occurring between 1 and 2 months of age in lambs born indoors.
