For the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in ruminating and non-ruminating calves and cattle. Formulated to meet the nutritional needs of very young calves when fed with good quality hay and water. Steam flaked corn and oats are the first ingredients; both are high in digestible energy and protein to maximize daily weight gain, and help animals reach their genetic potential. Contains 18% protein, 2.5% fat and 8.0% fiber.

  • Easy to digest formulation.
  • Contains the proper amount of vitamins and minerals essential for starting calves.
  • Reduces the effects of coccidiosis in young calves.
  • Helps increase the rate of gain.
  • Active ingredient:  Decoquinate (22.0 mg/lb).
  • Feed for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure, or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.
  • Do not use in feeds containing bentonite.
  • Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, free from rodents and insects.
  • Do not use moldy or insect-infested feed.
  • Do not feed to cows producing milk for food.

Feed to calves as a supplement to good quality milk replacer from 3 days of age until calves are weaned from milk. Custom Calf STARTER 18D may then be fed at 3 to 5 pounds per head, per day with good quality forage and fresh water until calves are at least 3 months of age. Feed at a rate to provide 22.7 mg Decoquinate per 100 pounds of bodyweight, daily, to cattle.
