Corid 9.6% Oral Solution: Use as a drench or mix into fresh water daily.
5 day treatment protocol:
Add 16 oz of solution to 100 gallons of water. At the usual rate of consumption this will deliver the desired rate of 10 mg amprolium per 2.2 lbs of body weight. Continue for 5 days as the sole source of water. Use this method for a herd basis only. Alternative method: Administer as a drench at a rate of 4.75 ml per 100 lbs for 5 days.
21 day prevention protocol:
During periods of exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard add to the water at a rate of 8oz per 100 gallons. At the usual rate of water consumption this will provide a rate of 5 mg of amprolium for every 2.2 lbs of body weight. Continue treatment as the sole source of water for 21 days. Alternative method: Administer as a drench at a rate of 2.4 ml per 100 lbs of body weight for 21 days.
Corid 20% soluble powder: To be mixed into water or made as a stock solution for metering into water supply. Mixed stock solutions can be stored for up to 3 days in a clean closed container.
5 day treatment protocol:
For use in water supply: Add one 10-oz bag into 125 gallons of water OR mix one 10-oz bag to one gallon of water to create a stock solution and meter into water at the rate of 1 oz of stock solution per gallon of drinking water to achieve an average daily intake of 10 mg amprolium to 2.2 lbs body weight. Continue treatment as sole source of water for 5 days. As a drench: Add 3 oz of Corid powder to 1 quart (32 oz) of water and with a dose syringe give 1oz of this solution for every 100 lbs of body weight. Administer daily for 5 days.
21 day prevention protocol:
For use in water supply: Add one 10-oz bag of powder into 250 gallons of water OR mix 5 oz of powder into one gallon of water to create a stock solution and meter into water at the rate of 1 oz solution per gallon of drinking water to achieve an average daily intake of 5 mg amprolium to 2.2 lbs of body weight. Continue prevention level as a sole source of water for 21 days. As a drench: Add 1.5 oz of powder to 1 quart (32 oz) of water and with a dose syringe give 1 oz of this solution for every 100 lbs of body weight. Administer daily for 21 days.
Corid 1.25% pellets and crumbles: To be fed as a part of a mixed ration or top dressed onto feed. Feed as the sole source of amprolium. Mix or top dress proper amount with the ration that will be consumed in one day.
5 day treatment protocol:
Mix or top dress with proper amount of feed 0.08 lbs of crumbles/pellets per 100 lbs of body weight to be treated. Continue treatment for 5 days.
21 day prevention protocol:
Mix or top dress with proper amount of feed, 0.04 lbs of crumbles/pellets per 100 lbs of body weight to be treated. Continue daily use for 21 days.
