This fast-acting antitoxin provides immediate, although temporary protection and can be used in animals less than a day of age. Although it is used similarly to a vaccine it is not considered one.
Used for cattle, sheep and goats in the treatment and prevention of enterotoxemia (overeating) caused by Clostridium perfringens (Types B, C, and D) and in swine when caused by Type C.

Should be administered as soon after birth as possible. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened.
Administer subcutaneously using aseptic technique; provides passive immunity lasting 14 to 21 days.
Preventative dosages are as follows:
Suckling lambs, goats and pigs – 5 ml
Suckling calves 10 ml Feeder lambs and pigs – 10 ml
Feeder calves and cattle – 25 ml
For treatment dosage increase above amounts by 100% (double the preventative dosage). For a more rapid effect this product can be given intravenously. Antihistamines can be given before or with intravenous injections to reduce risk of shock.
