Merck Cavalry 9 vaccine for cattle provides the broadest protection against clostridial infections. This 9-way clostridial vaccine is for healthy beef and dairy cattle 3 months of age and older. Low-volume, 2-ml dose offers a strong immune response which minimizes injection site reactions and stress to the animals.

Cavalry 9 aids in prevention of disease caused by Clostridium tetani (tetanus), C. chauvoei (blackleg), C. septicum (malignant edema), C. novyi Type B, C. haemolyticum (red water), C. sordellii (gas gangrene), and C. perfringens Types C & D (overeating). Also provides immunity as an aid in the prevention of diseases caused by the beta and epsilon toxins of an additional organism, C. perfringens Type B. Even though C. perfringens Type B is not a significant problem in North America (US), immunity is derived from a combination of Type C (beta) and Type D (epsilon) C. perfringens fractions.

Labeled for: beef and dairy cattle (3 months of age or older)
