CHR Hansen Bovamine Dairy for cows is a frozen source of live, viable, naturally occurring microorganisms with a patented and proven combination of lactic acid-producing bacteria and lactic acid-utilizing bacteria. This comprehensive probiotic can be added daily to the diet of calves and dairy cows at any stage of lactation, including dry cows. Stabilizes rumen and small intestine functions and fights harmful bacteria which can decrease the animal’s immune system. Mix into antibiotic-free milk replacers or feed.

  • Improves the efficiency of nutrient absorption.
  • Allows gains in milk production, herd health and performance.
  • Reduces lactic acidosis.
  • Improves gastrointestinal development.
  • Contains freeze-dried Propionibacterium freudenreichii and Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation products, lactose and silicate flow agent.
  • Store product in freezer until ready for use.
  • Do not add to milk treated with antibiotics when administering Bovamine Dairy to baby calves. 
  • 500 dose (20 ct) treats 10,000 head.
  • 1000 dose (20 ct) treats 20,000 head.

Must be kept frozen until ready for use. Mix into milk or milk replacer at no greater than 105 °F. 

Can be hand-added to a TMR or premix or can be applied via a well-calibrated micro-ingredient machine. Mix with grain or dry ingredients. When adding grain to mixer with loader bucket, distribute the product on top of the grain across the length of the bucket and cover with grain before adding to the feed mixer.

Bovamine 500: Feed at a rate of 2 g per head per day.

Bovamine 1000: Feed at a rate of 1 g per head per day.
