Cinnatube Dry Cow Tube for dairy cattle is an intramammary teat sealant for use at dry-off. Contains only natural, non-antibiotic ingredients in a viscous paste form to mimic the cow’s natural keratin plug during the dry period. Helps prevent issues by creating a physical barrier between the udder and the environment. Cinnatube for dry cows is comprised completely of GRAS/FEMA-GRAS listed components. Cinnatube teat sealant is OMRI listed for safe use in organic dairy production.

Through USDA funded trials, one shot of Cinnatube Dry Cow intramammary infusion treatment was found comparable to the two-shot (Orbeseal and Quartermaster) combination in preventing new infections in the dry period. The risk of new infection for each treatment were 14 ±7% for CIN(Cinnatube) and 23 ±20% for conventional (Quartermaster with Orbeseal).   • For use in dry dairy cows only. If accidentally administered to a lactating cow, product can be stripped out by hand.
  • No milk or pre-slaughter withdrawal. If antibiotics are used, follow recommended withdrawal times.
  • Each teat must be cleaned and disinfected prior to infusion.
  • Do not massage teat or udder following infusion.
  • Store at room temperature 59 to 86 °F (15 to 30 °C).
  • For animal use only.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

After last milking at dry-off, clean and disinfect the teats with the alcohol wipes. Allow each teat to air dry. Gently pinch the base of the teat near the udder attachment to close the teat canal. Insert the tip of tube into the streak canal of the teat and depress the plunger until the teat is full. Repeat the procedure on the remaining teats. It is not recommended for use following an antibiotic dry-cow infusion.

Removal: Hand-strip Cinnatube out of each quarter, 10 to 12 strips per quarter, before milking fresh cows. Bucket-milk fresh cows for a minimum of 3 milkings if possible. Do not remove by action of the milking machine.
