Bohning Block Biodegradable Extra Thick Hoof Block

Bohning Block Extra Thick Hoof Blocks are developed with the help of Hoof Trimmers and Bohning’s in-house team of engineers. Together they created a material and hoof block designed to exceed performance in comparison to traditional wood and plastic hoof blocks. The Biodegradable Hoof Blocks are made from American-made, plant-based materials, which will break down over time, reducing the amount of plastic left in the environment. Also created with biodegradable pigment, these blocks are manure-pump friendly. Bio blocks break down upon impact instead of jamming the impeller. Provides 3 to 4 weeks of wear, lasting longer than traditional wood blocks but not as long as Bohning’s standard material block. Can be left for the cow to wear off on their own, or they can be removed. Unique, honeycomb pattern creates an extremely strong bond and minimizes glue waste. Formulated with no oily residue—so there is no need to heat the block before use. Includes a hanging port to hang directly in the chute. Apply with a two-part epoxy glue. Universal side—apply glue on either side and use on right or left claw.
