- The inside of the liner is a warm and good environment for bacteria growth. Be sure to keep it clean and dry. Failure to do so could cause bacteria growth inside, which could be transferred to the cattle you are inseminating.
- The unit may overheat if used in direct sunlight in an air temperature above 85 °F. If this happens, the TEMP light will flash fast. Keep an eye on the TEMP light if using the product in these conditions.
- Does not require adjustment or calibration.
Turn the switch on, wait for the TEMP light to stop flashing, showing a steady light. Flashing means too cold (below 92 °F). Steady means it is ready to use. (between 92 and 98 °F). Flashing fast means too hot (above 98 °F).
The liner is required, and the guns must be pushed in until they hit bottom.
The liner can be machine washed and dried.
To run the gun warmer with the auto plug, leave the switch off. If the switch is on it will unnecessarily use up the battery. To run the gun warmer with the wall plug, turn the switch on.
When finished using it for the day, bring the Gun Warmer indoors (50 to 80 °F) and plug it in to charge.
Charging: Turn the switch off and plug in the wall plug. The BATT light will flash while the battery is charging and will be steady when it’s finished. Charge the battery indoors. The auto plug will not charge the battery. Charge before first use.
