Connect the Willoughby tubing to the collapsible bag filled with fluids. Shave away a small patch of hair. Cleanse skin with antiseptic and alcohol. Fill the tubing with fluids to be administered. If there are air bubbles in the tubing, allow the fluid to run until the tubing is free of air bubbles. Insert appropriate sized catheter into the jugular vein of the animal. Securely tape in catheter and allow fluids to flow at the proper rate.
