Vetericyn Antimicrobial Utility Gel for Livestock is the perfect wound-care and skin-care addition to your livestock medicine cabinet. This ready-to-use spray gel is free of antibiotics, steroids and alcohol. There is zero withholding times in dairy and beef cattle. Antimicrobial gel is designed to adhere to the application site, providing a layer of protection to the wound and skin conditions. Promotes moisture to the wound, enhancing the healing process. This one-step spray cleans and disinfects the umbilical and navel area of newborn animals; treats general wounds, ringworm, rashes, udder sores and sheep wool fungus. May also be used for udder sores, lesions and cuts. It has been proven to kill 99% of bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores including antibiotic-resistant strains. Naturally aids in fighting infection by increasing blood flow to the affected area. Non-toxic and safe if licked or ingested; safe for newborns of all species. Eliminates irritations and provides a protective barrier in one step.

Shake this product well before using. To apply, adjust spray nozzle. Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Saturate affected area. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Utility Gel at each dressing change. Repeat 3 to 4 times per day until wound is healed.  No rinsing necessary. Utility Gel is designed to stick to the site of application and evaporate slowly, no need to wipe away film or residue. Faster healing is achieved when wounds are cleaned and moisture is maintained.

For umbilical, navel, or udder application, use spray mode for better surface coverage. Saturate the affected area with Vetericyn Utility Gel. For best results, use Vetericyn Utility Spray to wash the area before application of the Utility Gel. For umbilical cord application, coat the inside and outside of the umbilical cord with the Utility Gel and massage up to the navel. Repeat if necessary or until area has dried and healed.
