Plastic lance and solid cone nozzle with alternative button operation. The solid cone spray technology optimizes the droplet size to improve teat coverage, and avoids hollow cone patterns. Ambic guns are vacuum operated, so they require no electricity. The unique Dump Valve automatically back-flushes the chemical intake filter, meaning there’s no mess when you switch off or change guns.

Spray teat and underside of udder in a circular motion. To check if the whole teat is covered with the chemical, periodically apply a disposable towel for evidence of complete coverage. Spray directly onto paper and check for an even, regular spray pattern. Replace worn spray nozzles when excessive wetting or dry patches occur. Avoid ‘hollow ring’ spray patterns, which increase the risk of ‘dry shadows’ or missing the teats completely.
