The Acumen Mastitis Detection system provides producers with on-the-farm, accurate, specific results of mastitis-causing pathogens in a timely manner. Resulting in informed, real-time management decisions to control mastitis infections within the herd and increase profits. Acumen Detection utilizes an PCR-based (polymerase chain reaction) pathogen system to detect mastitis-causing pathogens in very small samples of milk.
