Boehringer Ingelheim Polypropylene Injectable Syringe is used for the administration of LongRange, Ivomec Plus and Ivomec 1% Injectable cattle dewormers. It features a turn-dose adjuster with dose settings ranging from 2.5 ml to 12 ml in 0.5 ml increments. Designed with a ‘cloudy’ polypropylene barrel, comfortable v-grip handle, 60-inch flexible tubing, and a metal luer-lock tip to secure all needle types. Comes equipped with 30- and 20-mm draw-off caps. The semi-transparent 30-mm draw-off cap fits 250 ml and 500 ml bottles of LongRange. The brown 20-mm draw-off cap fits 200 ml, 500 ml, and 1000 ml bottle of Ivomec Plus and Ivomec 1%.

Slide the hose armor springs over each end of delivery tube. Push one end of delivery tube fully onto inlet barbs of injector. Slide armor spring back over end of delivery tube to reduce possibility of kinking the tube. Select appropriate draw-off cap to fit the bottle. Push the other end of delivery tube onto barbs of draw-off spike and slide armor spring over the end. Use sterile luer needle to pre-puncture the center of the rubber plug on the bottle prior to attachment. Firmly insert the draw-off spike.
To set the dose, turn the adjuster clockwise or counter-clockwise until required dose appears in dosing window. Ensure handle is in a fully opened position before altering the dose.
Immediately after use, flush injector with warm water, then disinfect with chlorhexidine-based cold water disinfectant.
