A non-invasive device to accurately detect calving. This tail-mount sensor measures contractions and sends an SMS notification (to up to 2 mobile numbers) approximately 1 hour before the cow calves. Moocall is designed to work indoors and outdoors; in all weather conditions and even areas with weak network coverage. The number of devices will depend on your calving system.

For a calving period occurring over 4 to 6 weeks, 1 Moocall is recommended per 30 head. For year-round, 1 Moocall per 80 head. Post-calving, move to the next cow in line to calf. Ideal for all cattle breeds.

Open the strap and place the device on the tail, opposite the vulva. Give the ratchet 2 or 3 clicks to tighten. Apply the device to the cow as close as possible to calving (about 2 to 3 days before the due date).
