Non-hazardous, water-based latex marking paint designed to make a long-lasting, highly-visible mark. Can be used on pregnant cows when tail chalk is being implemented for heat detection. Fast drying; and once dry, it is fully weatherproof and waterproof. Contains BitterguardĀ® to deter licking. The marks last up to two weeks.
Labeled for: beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep and goats
Species: cattle, sheep, goat, pig
For heat detection, apply a uniformed strip to the top of the spin. Keep the strip the width of the brush and about 6 to 8 inches long. For best results, get a good base application by applying 3 days or 3 milkings in a row. Afterwards, touch up as needed to maintain a good mark. Cows that are in good standing heat will have most or all of the paint rubbed off.
The paint can also be used to mark and identify animals. Apply anywhere on the animals body that is convenient and easily visible to workers.
