Depress bulb before placing it in the animal’s mouth. Once placed in the mouth, toward the back of the animals tongue release bulb to capture excess fluids. Express contents on a towel so you don’t accidently squeeze them back into the newborn. Clean bulb syringe by sucking up warm soapy water; then rinse with water, let air dry.
