Miller Manufacturing DuraProd Charger Base and Adapter is for use with the rechargeable battery pack for Hot-Shot Duraprod Rechargeable Electric Livestock Prod. Lightweight and portable; it is used with a 110-volt wall outlet for charging the battery pack. Features a LED lamp to indicate proper charging, and a safety timer to stop charging when battery charge is complete.

According to the Bureau of Industry and Security—U.S. Department of Commerce, “…devices to administer electric shock, for example, stun guns, shock batons, shock shields, electronic cattle prods…. A license is required for all destinations (outside of the U.S.), except Canada, regardless of end-use.” Per this regulation, electric cattle prod export is not permitted without prior U.S. Government authorization.

  • Do not attempt to use the Duraprod Base and Adaptor with any other type of adaptor. This can cause severe damage to the batteries.
  • The DuraProd is designed for use on Livestock only.
  • Please follow the regulations which apply to animal protection and slaughter in your area.

Recharging the battery pack:

  1. Before attempting to remove the battery compartment, make sure the trigger lock is engaged (located on the bottom of the handle).
  2. To charge, place the pack into the base. Be sure the charger cord is properly plugged into the charger base and a working power supply.
  3. The LED light will turn on and continue to flash until the battery is fully charged (approximately 16 hours).
  4. After 16 hours the LED light will stop flashing and remain on (solid light). The charger base has an internal timer. If the battery pack is removed from the base, the timer will reset.
  5. Do not disassemble the charger base. There are no serviceable parts inside. Disassembly will void the warranty.
  6. Unplug the charger base when not in use.
  7. Never expose the charger base to moisture.

The battery pack can remain in the charger base for an extended period of time without damage.
