A topical treatment for dairy cattle to treat or prevent foot warts. HoofPro+ contains a low pH, ionized copper solution. The copper is already in the solution and will not precipitate out as traditional copper sulfate will. Use as a spray or in a footbath. It has been used successfully around the world for more than 15 years.

For aid in treatment: Use in a spray bottle as a topical application. Mix 3 parts water to 1 part HOOFPRO+®. Clean feet thoroughly before application. Spray lesions thoroughly twice daily. Improvement should be noticed in 3 to 4 days. If no response to treatment, make a 1:3 dilution and apply a wrap.
Prevention spray: Spray all feet, or at least the back two feet, with the 1:3 dilution 4 to 6 milkings per week.
Footbaths for prevention: Mix 1/2 gallon of HOOFPRO+® per 50 gallons of water. Clean hooves as thoroughly as possible before entry into the footbath.
Footbath should be cleaned and refilled with fresh mixture after every 150 animals. In dirtier environments, footbath may need to be changed more often. Use 4 to 6 milkings per week. Maintain footbaths regularly for product to maximize effect; if not, results are reduced significantly.
