Accurately estimates the weight of hogs without the use of a scale. Can be used with many breeds, as it factors both body length and heart girth into the figures. Measures the weights of hogs from 125 to 260 lbs.

Labeled for: swine

Species: pig

  • Durable, long-lasting.
  • Easy to use.
  • Cost effective way to weigh hogs.

Tape is 60 inches long, double sewn with aluminum ends.

To find the weight in pounds: Place the tape under the pig just behind the front legs and measure the circumference of the pig’s girth in inches (heart girth). Measure the length of the pig along its back from the base of its ears to the base of its tail in inches (length). Calculate the pig’s weight by first squaring the heart girth to get the girth result. Multiply the girth result by the length and divide by 400.
